EPA’s Stormwater Discharge
The United States Environmental Protection Agency designed this discharge mapping tool in an effort to help you determine the receiving waters to which your facility discharges. This map also considers whether releases are considered “impaired” under section 303 (d) of the Clean Water Act. Step by step instructions on how to use the map can be found here.

The Industrial General Permit Map Tool provides guidance to industrial stormwater dischargers in determining potential discharge to an impaired watershed, waterbody, reach, or tributary. This map tool also provides potential areas linked with TMDLs (Total Maximum Daily Loads) included in the industrial general permit’s attachment E. Finally this map tool offers additional features for users to find the hydrologic unit code watershed factory located and associated impaired waterbodies.
